The Chelsea Flower Show - London
21st to 25th May 2024
This fabulous event attracting vistors from a world wide audience is looking forward to welcoming it's visitors again in 2024.
The Chelsea Flower show will still be held in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, home of the iconic Chelsea Pensioners who are all retired soldiers of the British Army. Some 300 veterans live in the retirement and nursing home on site.
The cycle of planning for the show lasts 15 months and the garden designers have their finalising plans for their gardens, with the first application deadline for exhibitors due in July the previous year.
There are three types of gardens at the event:-
Show Gardens - demonstrates the best of horticulture and excellence in garden design and innovative landscaping.
Urban Gardens/Space to Grow - provide a source of ideas and trends at Chelsea that inspires the gardener in all of us.
Artisan Gardens - These gardens revitalise traditional materials and methods through new design approaches. Here, rustic combines with stylish modern twists, resulting in bold and exciting garden designs.
Each year we have our day and overnight visits planned to the Chelsea Flower Show.
We run the visit on a 2 or 1 day basis, one on the Wednesday, members day, and one on the Friday.
If you are close enough for a day trip then give us a call about our pick up points.
Our overnight trip stays close to the venue and includes a visit to Hampton Court Palace.
